Other ways to add effects:

• select an effect from the Effects menu.
• right-click or control-click on the image and choose an effect from the contextual menu.
• drag an effect or chain of effects from the Effect Library (my fX) to the image or effects chain area.
• drag an effect or chain of effects file from the Finder to the image or the effects chain area. (See Managing Effects for information on making an effects file.)

You can also apply effects by replacing all previously applied effects with the new effect or effects chain:

• Click on Instant Effects in the Toolbar, choose a panel of effects, and then click on one of the effect images.
• Hold the Option key while dragging an effect or chain of effects from the Effect Library (my fX) to the image or effects chain area.

Certain effects can be added from the Tasks menu. These include color correction effects and transformation effects to rotate or flip the video.
